First point of note. Whether you remember or not, Karl Bakla and myself created the original Stinking Pile years ago. That website, sadly, faded out. Not, however, due to it's popularity. In fact, it's popularity had been growing exponentially at the time of it's demise. However, after a few years and several conversations with Karl about resurrecting it. I’ve decided that there is no time like the present. Hopefully, it will fester like the dark and eerie fungus it was and regain, then eventually surpass, it’s previous popularity. It begins anew, as a blog. This is an open blog, meaning, anyone (and I mean anyone) that wants to contribute, may do so under the following conditions... 1.) Your article must be about popculture, politics or society in general. 2.) You must be honest and vulnerable in your writing. 3.) Have a point, pointless rants will not be tolerated unless they are
somehow incredibly funny and insightful. 4.) If you choose to review something (like the old Stinking Pile) our rating system is from 10 (So stinky it’s memory will haunt you forever), to 0 (Absolutely no stink, hence perfect) and lastly, 5.) Your article remains your property, however I reserve the right to edit it for the blog based on spelling, grammar and content that may detract from the flow or subject of the article, never based solely on content.
